Revolutionizing education in South Carolina, eLearning makes learning content available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to anyone with Internet access. Students may learn at their leisure – a time and place convenient for them.
 
Providing students with a one-stop shop for online education and training, the South Carolina eLearning Center (SCELC) uses a Learning Management System (LMS) to connect educators and students with the following functions:

• Web-based registration
• Classroom resource management
• Administration of certification, regulatory compliance and degree programs
• Transcript reporting
• Collaboration forums and blended learning
• Class evaluation
• Content authoring and management
